Who We Are
Xpact is a mentoring and tutoring service built around play, giving young people a safe, engaging, low-pressure space to learn and grow.
We’re led by a multi-agency team with both professional expertise and lived experience, including:
mental health support and lived experience of raising children with SEND (including autism)
experienced teachers (including a SENCO) with backgrounds in special schools and alternative provision
a specialist in positive behaviour support
All mentors are trauma-informed, safeguarding-trained, and skilled at using gaming to build trust and connection.
Together, we support confidence, wellbeing, and real progress through mentoring, tutoring, and alternative provision.

Who we support
Our mentors are trained to support young people who are struggling with anxiety, ADHD, autism, ODD, OCD, attachment, bereavement, and trauma.
Sessions are low-demand, giving players a space to thrive and learn strategies to improve their social and emotional well-being in the place they feel most comfortable.
Our mentors game, listen, chat; whatever supports the player’s individual needs. No pressure and no rush.

Let Us Take The Strain

Measurable Results
Our approach is built to be clear, accountable, and child-centred.
With Xpact’s Impact Reporting you can see what happens in low-demand sessions, what we look for, and how progress can be recorded when requested.
We also explain the evidence base behind our work, with the added benefit of real respite for parents and carers.

Safe & Secure
The safety, wellbeing and happiness of our students sits at the forefront of everything we do.
