Mentoring Sessions & Programmes
The Benefits Of Gaming Mentoring
For many young people, gaming isn’t “a distraction”. It’s where they feel most comfortable, most capable, and most themselves. We use that space as a bridge to trust, confidence, and progress.
Your child plays familiar games while a professional mentor joins them, supporting growth through real moments, as they happen, all without turning it into a test or a therapy session.
Sessions are calm, predictable, and led by your child with steady professional guidance in the background.

Best Suited To Young People Who:
- have a diagnosis of Autism / ADHD / PDA-profile or are otherwise neurodivergent
- experience anxiety, overwhelm, shutdowns, or low confidence
- struggle socially or find direct conversation hard, are school avoidant / struggling with attendance
- disengage when support feels forced
What this can develop over time:
- emotional regulation (especially frustration tolerance)
- confidence and self-esteem
- communication and social connection
- focus, resilience, perseverance
- everyday skills like turn-taking, problem-solving, and teamwork
Steady progress at a pace your child can tolerate
Who said learning can’t be fun?
Some young people can learn brilliantly, but only when they feel safe enough to try. Our tutoring keeps the Xpact approach: Relationship-led, paced, and low-demand, while still being purposeful and progress-focused.
We support any topic, including exam preparation, and adapt to the learner’s style, tolerance, and confidence levels.
Best suited to young people who:
- fear getting things wrong, avoid uncomfortable tasks, or give up quickly
- have fallen behind due to anxiety or non-attendance
- need patient, consistent support to rebuild learning confidence
- do better when learning feels calm and personalised
Tutoring can support:
- re-engagement with learning (without battles)
- focus and learning habits that stick
- confidence to attempt, practise, and persist
- confidence to attempt, practise, and persist
- exam preparation with reduced stress and clearer structure
What's your passion?
Not every young person connects through gaming, but many have a passion that they could talk about for hours. This programme uses your child’s online interests as the foundation for mentoring and skill-building.
That interest becomes the bridge to connection, confidence, and real-life development without the “sit down and talk about feelings” pressure.
Here are some examples:
- art and digital creativity
- coding and building projects
- AI tools and creative tech
- music creation / production
- design, strategy, puzzles, systems-thinking
- and many other online activities your child already enjoys
Best suited to young people who:
- go deep into a special interest and thrive with autonomy
- resist traditional mentoring but open up while doing and talking about their passions
- benefit from confidence, social support, and steady encouragement
- tend to benefit from structured connection without direct demand
