Designed to work on devices most households already own (see Platforms we support).
Low-pressure engagement through familiar games
Young people engage through titles they already understand and enjoy — reducing barriers to connection and participation.
Safeguarding and quality assurance
Although concerns are rare, we put robust measures in place to protect young people, families, and commissioning bodies:
DBS checks, safeguarding training, and thorough induction for all mentors
clear voice/chat boundaries agreed in advance, with parent/carer consent
designated safeguarding lead (DSL) and deputies, with escalation procedures
responsible handling of data and records
quality assurance: session monitoring and QA reporting
feedback loops with young people, parents/carers, and commissioners to continually improve delivery

Testimonials
Testimonial
“We have tried so many services over the years, all of which ended in pressure, overwhelm or total shutdown. The PDA and OCD together make day-to-day life incredibly challenging for him—and for us.
Xpact has been different. The mentor adapts to him, not the other way round. There is no demand, no judgement, just connection through something he enjoys. He feels in control and understood.
We’ve seen a huge decrease in his anxiety, better emotional regulation and even moments of pride in himself. That might sound small, but to us it means everything.”
— Parent from Fowey, Cornwall
