Mentoring & Tutoring
Our mentors are trauma-informed and SEN-trained, supporting the development of social, emotional, and communication skills. They observe, encourage, and look for natural opportunities to help players build key life skills.
They provide support and encouragement through teamwork, problem-solving, or patience, while taking care not to interrupt the flow of play.
Mentors support both personal growth and academic progress through mentoring and tutoring in a way that feels engaging and empowering.

Every Xpact mentor holds a DBS, completes safeguarding training, and works to clearly agreed boundaries for voice/chat. Each mentor has access to a Designated Safeguarding Lead and simple escalation routes.
